Rosalie Robbins is an MD with over 20 years experience in emergency medicine. She was named chosen by the Association of Academic Chairs of Emergency Departments (AAACED) as the AAACED Emergency Medicine Research Faculty Research Award recipient, 2010.  Dr. Robbins has contributed more than 50 papers to peer reviewed journals; she is one of the most cited emergency medicine researchers in her field. She currently sits on the editorial board of both Annals of Emergency Medicine and Academic Emergency Medicine (AEM), which are two of the most important journals in emergency medicine. Dr. Robbins was the recipient of the 2010 Rodolfo Llinas Distinguished Scholar Award by the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr Robbins has served as a member and and as president of numerous premier and national organizations, including: American College of Emergency Physicians, Society of Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM), American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), and Academy for Emergency Life Support (AEALS). She was also the AEM's Charles E. Grimes distinguished mentor-scholar in 2005, as well as a recipient of an NIH career development award in 2006. She is married to Dr. David Robbins, who is also an emergency physician.  They have four children, with five grandchildren.
